Botox® Cosmetic is a simple treatment done in less than 20 minutes to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead, crow’s feet and more. It can also be used to decrease jaw clenching and grinding for people who suffer from TMJ syndrome and/or migraines.
 
 

How does Botox® work?
Botox® works by temporarily relaxing muscles. It’s made from a toxin produced by a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum. When injected into specific muscles, it blocks signals from nerves that tell those muscles to contract. This causes the muscles to relax, which can smooth out wrinkles. The effects are temporary. It’s commonly used for cosmetic purposes to reduce wrinkles, and also for medical conditions like TMJ or excessive sweating.
 
 

How long until I see results?
Botox® starts working at 2 days after injection and peaks in effectiveness around day 14 after injection. At that time if there is still some unwanted movement we will do a follow-up visit where you can add product if needed.
 
 

How long will my results last?
